“Mark has always been the go-to person for welding and fabrication, and his work will be part of our system for generations,” John Meyer, Utility Operator said, “He was a mentor and team leader to the many service techs that have worked at the utility.”

“We’re grateful to Mark for his many years of outstanding dedication to ensuring the reliable delivery of our drinking water for our community,” said Arturo Gabaldón, President. “His depth of knowledge and expertise will be missed.  Over the years he has made us a better company.”

Mark and his wife Ann Wyland are long-time residents of Sahuarita.  Ann is well known for her excellent work at the Animal League of Green Valley.

Mark joined Community Water in 1978 when the Company was in its first year of operating as a not-for-profit.

Jim Livingston, Community Water President 1977-1996, joined us at the retirement recognition luncheon and delighted us with his memories of hiring Mark and how enjoyable retirement can be.  Jim Livingston is currently a resident of Payson, Arizona.
