Water service has been restored to most customers. Within 30 minutes of the main break, Community Water Company field staff isolated the damaged main, allowing pressure and water service to begin recovering throughout the system. Crews continue to install temporary lines and monitor the delivery system for additional damage or service issues. We appreciate the fast, skilled response of our field staff and thank our customers for their patience.

Community Water Company is responding to a major water main break near Continental Road and La Cañada Drive. The break occurred shortly after 8:00 a.m. and is affecting water service across a large portion of our service area.
Customers in the affected area may experience no water, low pressure, or temporary changes in pressure.

There is no public health advisory at this time. Customers do not need to boil their water unless Community Water Company issues a separate notice.
We do not yet have an estimated restoration time. Crews are working to restore service as safely and quickly as possible.

Important Notice: Change in Water Rates
Starting August 1, 2025, water rates will change for the first time in 10 years. For a residential customer with a 5/8” meter using 3,470 gallons per month, the monthly bill will increase by approximately $5.11 (23.88%), rising from $21.38 to $26.49. This change is necessary to cover rising operating costs, meet new regulatory requirements, and fund critical infrastructure upgrades to maintain safe, reliable service.

Community Water Company’s Annual Member Meeting will be held on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at 9:30 AM at the GV Recreation East Center, 7 S Abrego Dr, Green Valley, AZ.
Members will elect four directors and address other official business. In-person registration: 9:00–9:30 AM.
