Legend

1. Account Number

The account number is a 16-digit number specific to each individual account.

2. Service Address

The service address is the location where water is delivered. It could vary from the mailing address.

3. Rate Class

The rate class refers to how your service is categorized, specifically whether it is residential or commercial.

4. Bill Date

Date the bill was created.

5. Due Before

The date the payment is due to avoid late charges.

6. Amount Due

The total amount that is owed.

7. Billing Summary

Provides prior balance and payment information. Also shows current charges, which include: availability charge (based on meter size), tiered consumption costs, tariffs, State and local taxes, and a voluntary Round-Up contribution. Tiered charges are used to promote conservation by increasing the price of water as use increases.

8. Meter Reading Detail

This section provides your meter number, read dates, previous and present meter reads, and total gallons used during the billing cycle.

9. Usage History

A 13-month historical view of your water usage.

10. Message Area

The message area features relevant, rotating information about the company, upcoming events, changes, conservation efforts, regulatory compliance, and public notices.

11. Payment Information

The payment stub includes account information and should be included with the payment if made by mail. Other details include contact information for billing and emergencies.
